Mechanical and mechatronic engineers work with moving things (or systems), and the advanced electronics that drive them. Think robots, nano machines, biomedical devices, and more. What will I learn? You’ll study dynamics (the science of moving things) and learn to calculate and control the movement and interaction of solid objects, fluids, heat and electricity. You will also learn to design, build and manage automated and autonomous mechanical systems, with an emphasis on robots, micro- and nano-scale machines, automatic and intelligent control systems, and biomedical devices.
